PCB Matrix Inc. offers PCB component libraries of IPC approved, RoHS compliant, PCB footprints (land patterns) for a huge number of manufacturers’ components. In addition, the easy to use LP Wizard tool calculates footprint dimension data from any manufacturer’s component dimensional data.
The PCB Matrix libraries free you from the time consuming, tedious, and error prone task of manually creating library footprints. Priced at just £1,000 per licence these libraries will quickly pay for themselves, whilst ensuring that your libraries are always up to date and compliant with the latest industry standards. All land patterns are RoHS compliant.
The IPC-7351A PCB Libraries LP Wizard Suite is a series of powerful library maintenance tools that use IPC and industry-approved mathematical algorithms and component orientations to calculate footprint (land pattern) dimension data from any manufacturer's component dimensional data. Build standard SMT library parts in just minutes! Available for all leading PCB layout tools, this tool suite will revolutionize the way you work, allowing you to quickly and easily locate, view, construct and verify components within your PCB libraries.
The LP Wizard Suite includes the following tools:
LP Viewer offers easily library searching for the required footprints, and viewing of associated PDF and web-linked datasheets. The viewer provides on-screen graphical display for most standard SMD components and allows rapid browsing of library contents. The on-screen display includes component, description, footprint name, and links to the component manufacturer websites.
LP Calculator calculates PCB footprints from user entered manufacturer’s component data. The resulting footprints are immediately visible in the viewer window. Users may also define their own foot prints and export them to any supported PCB layout environment. All library decals are exported in their native CAD format.
LP calculator offers complete control of manufacturing tolerances such as pad size, placement courtyard tolerance, PAD width round-off, component tolerance, footprint name, and the solder joint analysis. Alternatively, you can simply use the default IPC settings.
LP Calculator also provides pick & place zero component rotation information for accurate assembly data.
The LP Librarian tool stores and references all component data in one central database. All information can be viewed by multiple users simultaneously using LP Viewer. The library documentation edit feature can be used to create libraries from scratch, modify individual attribute names and change IPC-7351A LP software-generated values based on your unique project needs. This feature provides unprecedented flexibility in library management giving complete control over what component data is stored in individual project data files. All required components for a particular project may be grouped and simply shared with the relevant engineers.
PCB Matrix libraries are available for the following PCB environments:
Allegro, Altium Designer/Protel 99SE, Board Station, CADSTAR, CR5000, Expedition, OrCAD Layout, OrCAD PCB Editor, Pantheon, PADS, PADS ASCII, P-CAD, and Pulsonix.
