Simulation
Libraries
ModelSim
is the industry standard VHDL simulator, along with this, ModelSim
offers you the broadest support for VITAL sign-off libraries. In
addition to VITAL, the VHDL gate-level standard, ModelSim's Verilog
implementation has broad support. With the introduction of the high-capacity
and high-performance Verilog gate-level features in release 5.5,
the number of semiconductor suppliers that support or sign-off with
ModelSim has grown.

search form. A listing of VITAL and Verilog gate-level libraries
you can use with ModelSim are detailed with an easy-to-use search

Synthesis
Libraries
Leaonardo
Spectrum is probably the most widely supported synthesis tool in
the FPGA Design community. A number of vendors include single vendor
"OEM" versions of Leonardo Spectrum as an integrated part
of their own development tool suite, and all commercially available
FPGA technologies are supported within the tool. A large number
of ASIC libraries are also supported.
